Jim O'Neill - former chief economist and previous chairman of Goldman Sachs Asset Management at Goldman Sachs is set to become commercial secretary for city devolution and infrastructure at the UK Treasury.
Says O'Neill:
- "The goal of the independent City Growth Commission, which I chaired, was to think of interventions that might raise the economic performance of major urban areas outside London."
