The French CAC 40 has bounced back to nearly unchanged on the rumor that the French government is preparing a TARP-like program. The gains are spreading to the S&P 500 but FX reaction has been light. One exception is the Swiss franc which is putting together some nice gains.
Update: Cable now pushing toward the day’s highs.
