In an online Associated Press article this morning, i see that Mr Madoff has applied to keep his NYC penthouse and USD62mio in bonds and cash as they are unrelated to the scam. Not that i expect he will be spending too muchtime in the penthouse in coming years given the penalties previously dished out to worshippers of Ponzi by US courts in the past.
I thought there was some contention recently about his wife withdrawing a large sum of money from one of the companies the day before it all went pear shaped?
