Hurricane Matthew skirts the Atlantic coast of Florida

Rain and winds are pounding the coast of Florida.

Hurricane Matthew is the strongest storm to hit the state since 2005. It's bearing down on Daytona Beach at the moment with wind gusts as strong as 107 mph clocked earlier today.

It will track North along the coast up Florida, to Georgia and South Carolina before turning back towards the Atlantic on Monday. Hurricane-force winds are expected to hit coastal areas all the way along.
