'Insider' reports that German Fin Min Schaeuble has been pushing for Grexit since 2011
Wolfgang Schaeuble
An anonymous 'senior advisor to the Greek government who has been at the heart of the past five months of negotiations between Athens and its international creditors' spoke with France's Mediapart in a revealing interview.
Some highlights:
- Schaeuble "How much money do you want to leave the euro?"
- There were never discussions about debt and financing
- Eurogroup president Jeroen Dijsselbloem, warned he would sink Greece's banks unless the Tsipras government bowed to the harsh deal on offer (he's probably sunk them now)
