He's always been upbeat on a deal happening. That's a bit like standing on the bow of a sinking ship and saying "I'm still dry"
I do take my hat off to these politicians for sticking at this. I would have got the hump with this years ago and told them all to shove it where the sun doesn't shine. Yes they could have got all this sorted sooner but they should get a smidge of credit for keeping their composure. Just a smidge mind ;-)
