The euro was the top performer last week
The thing is, Draghi didn't even do anything to boost the euro. His main speech at Jackson Hole hinted at better growth and then in comments later he preached the same message of patience as he has for two months.
It didn't matter, the euro jumped and it finished the week as the top performer. The US dollar was near the bottom of the performance chart but edged out the yen while the kiwi lagged badly on slower growth forecasts.
