Poor data integrity strikes Japan once again
Japan's Cabinet Office just made an announcement saying that they will revise the wage component of its GDP figures due to "flawed" data. They estimate that the revised GDP is to be released around the end of this month.
This isn't the first time Japan is encountering such circumstances with prime minister Shinzo Abe having to abandon key labour market reforms at the start of last year due to a similar issue.
