Japanese finance minister Yosano says that stimulus spending in Japan will likely meet the IMF’s suggested target of 2% of GDP. The US and Japan did not discuss forex rates in bilateral talks but they did agree than fiscal stimulus is more important than financial reform near-term.

Expect Yosano to pass on the wine at lunch tomorrow rather than repeat his predecessor’s mistake.
