The Obama administration has repeatedly called for higher taxes on wealthy American’s and corporations. Yet, this same administration now wants the self same individuals and investors to buy into the TALF creations to revive consumer spending while at the same time taking potshots as these investors for creating the current financial mess.
Is the something I am missing in the logic of this “plan“?
