Former Trump campaign manager Paul Manfort found guilty of tax fraud

Guilty on at least one count. The jury came to a verdict on 8 of the 10 counts.

He was found guilty of all five counts of tax fraud, two counts of bank fraud and one count of failing to file an F-bar (failing to disclose foreign bank accounts).

The jury couldn't decide on three counts of failing to disclose foreign bank accounts and seven of the bank fraud charges.

Looks like he's going to be staying in jail. He faces another trail in Washington for money laundering, which could carry the most-lengthy sentence. He could also be retried for the 10 counts where a jury couldn't come to a verdict.

Bloomberg reports that Manafort looked 'stunned' as he was led out of the courtroom. The judge didn't set a sentencing date and said he wanted to give the prosecution time to decide whether to retry the 10 counts where the jury was hung. He gave them until Aug 29 to decide how to proceed.
