Police may have foiled terrorist attack at last minute

The S&P 500 is in negative territory and the US-traded ETF that tracks Germany has pared its gain to 0.4% from 1.1%.

The German press is reporting that an ambulance packed with explosives was found near the Hanover stadium where a match between German and Netherlands was due to kick off. The match was cancelled.

Police reports indicate it may have been part of a larger plot. Hanover's chief of police said "there was a device intended to be detonated inside the stadium."

At this point, information is murky but traders a selling out of stocks now and asking questions later.

Update: German police have also closed the Hanover subway and train stations.
