Melania Trump Rickrolls and copies too...

A day after the Trump campaign denied that Melania Trump plagiarized Michelle Obama, it seems that it was not the case. The speechwriter for Mrs Trump admitted that the words were in fact from Michelle Obama's speech (or at least largely inspired). Mr. Trump did not fire the family friend Meredith McIver for the error.

What was also somewhat humorous is the speech included an oft used "Rickroll". A Rickroll, refers to injecting of lyrics from the 1980s ginger haired, pop sensation Risk Astley's song "Never Gonna Give You Up" into a post, and have it hyperlinked to the Astley's video where he sings and dances. He looks about 16 years old, but has some rather attractive, older looking back up dancers. If you are tempted by the hyperlink and end up at the video, you are said to be Rickrolled.

Anyway in Melania's speech she included the words "He will never, ever, give up. And, most importantly, he will never, ever, let you down.". Those words are very similar to Astley's lyrics "Never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down" Coincidence? Some are suggesting the Rickroll and the plagiarized words was proof that there were some underhanded sabotage motives in place.

Like all/most things that are Trump (i.e his taxes returns, whether he will really build a wall, or declare war or make America great again), we may never, ever really know.

All I know is we at FXL we will never, ever run around or desert you...You can count on that...
