The Nikkei has traded above 9000 here this morning for the first time in 3 months. This follows a strong night on Wall St where Wells Fargo reported a record quarterly profit.
Honda is up 2.2% after Nomura Holdings Inc upgraded Japan’s auto Industry. Nomura Holdings also up, +4.6%.
Elsewhere the Taiwan Stockmarket has opened up very strongly, +2.07%.
