The Nasdaq and the big movers for 2017 led the decline in stocks today, but all 3 indices were lower. No record closes for the major indices:

- the NASDAQ composite index fell 30.908 points or -0.44% to 6963.85. The high price extended to 6995.87. The low reached 6951.49
- The Dow industrial average fell 37.45 points or -0.15% to 24754.75. The high reach 24850, while the low extended to 24715.
Apple fell -1.07% after being downgraded to neutral from buy by Instinet.

- Intel rose by 1.69%
- Boeing rose by 0.35%
- Twitter rose by 1.58% as it continues its rise.
