Joseph Stiglitz and MIT economist Simon Johnson have been very critical of late of the current policy of protecting big banks and their management. Not sure of the practicality of their suggestions but their thoughts are certainly worth reading.
For those of you who love a good conspiracy theory, here is a piece by Paul B Farrell that looks at the possibility that Goldman Sachs has taken over the American Government. Now, i know that sounds a little out there, but like all conspiracy theories, he makes some points which make you go Hmmmm. The first few paragraphs are a bit out there, but if you can make it past those its a great read!
