S&P has downgraded Greece’s sovereign debt rating to BBB+ from A minus and that they will cut again unless Greece reduces its debt burden, a prospect they call “unlikely”.
Fitch cut Greece to BBB+ last Wednesday, so the reaction is muted. EUR/USD trades at 1.4555.
