Some Fed members are speaking today, including Aunty Janet herself

We've some talking heads today and Janet Yellen is going to be closely watched

  • 13.10 GMT (5 mins bfore ADP) Dennis Lockhart talks about the economy to the Broward Workshop in Florida. There will be text and a Q&A
  • 13.30 GMT Janet Yellen makes brief welcoming remarks to the National College Fed Challenge Finals in Washington. I think she's done this before and it was a dud then
  • 14.00 GMT The Fed's Mr Regulations, Daniel Tarullo talks about red tape reduction in Washington (that should be a throbber). He rarely breaks into song about mon pol and the economy and used up his quota of those types of comments twice last month

Fed's Tarullo ready for action

  • 17.25 GMT Yellen is back on stage after a quick Jacuzzi and sauna, and delivers a speech on the economic outlook to the Economic Club of Washington. There's a bonus Q&A
  • 20.40 GMT Rounding things off is John Williams speaking about the economy to community leaders in Portland, Oregon
