Ghana is attempting to seize a navy vessel from Argentina on the request of a creditor from the 2001 default.
The problem is that international courts have no way to resolve a national bankruptcy. Instead, countries are held hostage forever. In turn, those countries grow more isolated, desperate and radical.
It’s a terrible system that holds back global growth.
