Top Republican officials' emails were hacked this year - report

Politico reports that four top National Republican Congressional Committee officials had their emails hacked at the height of the midterms.

Here's the story.

"Party officials would not say when the hack began or who was behind it, although they privately believe it was a foreign agent due to the nature of the attack," they say.

Interestingly, the committee said senior Republican politicians were not told until this week.
