What's on the economic calendar
Non-farm payrolls are due tomorrow and that's going to be a big one. There are a few notable releases today, led by trade balance at the bottom of the hour. Now that we get the advanced goods report, surprises in this data point are rare but at the same time, the market is more sensitive to any misses because of the trade war. The Canadian trade report is due at the same time and more-likely to prompt a market reaction.
Initial jobless claims are also due and the final Q1 non-farm productivity report. I wouldn't expect any market moves on those.
10 minutes after the data, we hear from Kaplan. He spoke to the WSJ yesterday and said he wants to see if trade tensions ease before considering a rate cut.

The big event is Draghi who starts his press conference just after the data deluge at 1230 GMT.
