UK Data: Sep House Prices Down 0.8% m/m; Up 6.1% y/y

LONDON (MNI) – UK house prices fell on the month in September, data
from the department of Communities and Local Government showed.

The CLG data put UK house price down 0.8% on the month in September
and up 6.1% on the year.

One leading private sector house price survey, from the Halifax,
showed house prices fell 3.7% on the month in September to stand up 2.6%
on the year, while the Nationwide survey showed them flat on the month.
