Russia says planned telephone calls between foreign minister Lavrov and US Secretary of State Kerry on Wed and Thurs did not take place, not through Russia’s fault.
The foreign ministry has ramped up its rhetoric saying Washington “must force the current Ukraine leadership to immediately stop the military operation in Southeastern Ukraine” and withdraw forces.
