Dow now negative. Nasdaq gives back about 1/2 of gains
The US stocks have given back a lot of the gains from earlier in the day.
The Nasdaq was up around 70 points at one point. It is now only up 35 on the day.
The S&P was up around 19 points at the peak. It is now only up 5.5.
The Dow was up around 120 points. It is now down 21 points.
According to a tweet I saw, the S&P is in the longest consolidation period in 65 years.I don't know if that is true, but here is the link from the tweet.
Trending transitions to non-trending even in stocks sometimes.... but non-trending transitions to trending too so eventually, there will be a break.
