JOLTS and Kashkari on the agenda
The November US Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey from the Fed is due at 10 am ET today (1500 GMT). It's a laggy indicator but it's one the FOMC likes.
At the same time as the data, the Fed's Kashkari will speak on a moderated panel. There is no pre-released text, so headlines will cross as they happen. Kashkari is a major dove and no longer a voter this year so it's tough to envision a market reaction.
There is a three-year Treasury auction at 1800 GMT. Then, after the US stock market close, the API will release weekly oil inventory data.
