There's a grab-bag of economic data and the UN General Assembly

The general debate of the UN starts at 1300 GMT. Trump will call on world leaders to confront Iran and North Korea in his first address to the UN.

Markets will be watching to see if he singles out China or Russia as enablers of either state.

"Big day at the United Nations -- many good things, and some tricky ones, happening," he tweeted earlier today.

In terms of economic data, it all hits at once at 1230 GMT (8:30 am ET). That's when we get US housing starts, current account balance and import price index. Along with it is the Canadian July manufacturing sales report.

Don't expect any big market moves on the numbers but housing starts will be notable. For more, check the economic calendar.
