White House officials McMasters and Tillerson out with statements a short while ago
The Washington Post story has been grabbing some headlines, and indeed some intense reader reaction here too.
Now we've had the obvious statements of denial in the past hour or so and I'm just reporting for good orders' sake.
National Security Advisor HR McMaster told reporters that the story was "false".
"The president and foreign minister reviewed a range of common threats to our two countries, including threats to civil aviation,"
"At no time... were intelligence sources or methods discussed, and the president did not disclose any military operations that were not already publicly known."
While Secretary of State Rex Tillerson echoed the point that:
"the nature of specific threats were discussed, but they did not discuss sources, methods or military operations".
The Washington Post, which first broke the story, said this did not amount to a denial of their story.
Politics continuing to dominate the market landscape and that's not going away any time soon.
Meanwhile USDJPY pinned around 113.50 but GBPUSD and EURUSD nudging higher as European trading gets underway with the latter threatening 1.1000 again.
