Create a Habit Loop and trade like a rat.
When scientists put a rat in a maze over time, they can
- Take a cue,
- Follow a routine and
- Reap a reward - like a piece of cheese
Before long, those dirty rats are racing through the maze with ease and having a nice piece of cheese as a reward..
We as traders can also create a habit loop. We should take a trading cue, follow a routine like buying or selling and reap the reward from the action.
Of course, in trading not all trades end in a profit (a reward), but if the loss is limited, can that not also be a reward. I think so.
