The CHF is the strongest. The GBP is the weakest.

As the NA traders enter for the day, the CHF is the strongest while the GBP is the weakest. The Mansion Speech is the big mover of course, with Carney saying now is not the time to tighten. The GBP fell against all the major currency pairs and currently trades near low levels for the day.

The USD is mixed, rising the most against the GBP (+0.54%), and also rising against the CAD (+0.36%), JPY (+0.11%). It is near unchanged vs the EUR and AUD and lower against the NZD and CHF.

The ranges and changes show the focus on the GBP. Pairs like the EURUSD and USDJPY have very small trading ranges (well below their 22-day averages. It is all about the GBP today. The USDCAD is moving higher on the back of sharply lower oil prices. The crude oil contract fell below support at the $44.00 area (38.2% retracement) and is trading closer to $43.00 (dipped to $42.93).
