US dollar briefly kicks higher
Dollar bulls liked what they heard from Yellen and that sent the US dollar about 20 pips higher across the board. The moves have pared back now but at the highs, the US Dollar Index reached above the March highs to the best levels since 2003.
I don't like the Dollar Index but it's one point away from the 61.8% retracement of the decline since the start of this millennium.
