A speech is coming up at 2100 GMT ( 5 pm ET) from Minneapolis Fed President Narayana Kocherlakota, who is one of my favorite central bankers for three reasons:
- He isn’t afraid to change his mind
- He was raised in Canada (I’m biased on that one)
- He seems to have a thing for technical analysis
Ok, that last one might be a bit of a stretch but his audience today is the Minnesota chapter of the Market Technicians Association so I take that as an implicit endorsement.
I expect comments similar to Saturday but you never know, maybe he will bust out some technical analysis on the size of the Fed’s balance sheet
Gotta get short at trendline resistance!
