Central bankers talked about theory, not policy
The forum with Draghi, Kuroda, Carney and Poloz was a let-down. That's not a huge surprise because events like that force them to focus on common themes, rather than policy in each country.
Carney was an exception as he made a speech and touched on inflation. The pound jumped on the headlines but the content was more-conditional than the headlines so the 120 pip gain in the pound might be a bit more than what's justified.
As for the other comments, there was nothing about inflation or the outlook or the serial disappointment in developed markets.
