The minutes of the Bank of Japan October monetary policy board meeting were out on Tuesday
By the time to the minutes come out they are usually a little dated:
- The 'summary of opinions' of the meeting comes out a week or so after, preceding the minutes by 6 or so weeks. Check these out: Bank of Japan October meeting Summary Of Opinions out now and BOJ 'Summary' - more (board debated targeting longer end of yield curve)
- Before the minutes come out there is another meeting finished (in this case the December meeting followed the October meeting)
Anyway, on the October meeting minutes:
- Most Bank of Japan policymakers agreed that the central bank must persistently pursue powerful monetary easing, but that additional stimulus measures were unnecessary for now, minutes of the BOJ's October rate review showed on Tuesday.
