Yes, its that time of week again where the central bankers gather to drop pearls of wisdom while the markets are closed.
The weekend it's the IMF piss up conference in Lima, Peru.
ForexLive's resident moose-wrestler, Mr Button, has a great post here on The upcoming schedule of Federal Reserve speakers
I wanted to add to that what is coming up over the weekend:
- 10 October 2015 at 1700GMT, Minouche Shafik, deputy Governor of the Bank of England is speaking on a panel in Lima
- 09 October 2015 at 1830GMT, Governor of the Bank of Canada Steven Poloz, along with Rodrigo Vergara. President of the Central Bank of Chile are speaking on a panel at the IMF shin dig in Lima, too.
There will be other central bankers present, notably from the ECB ... so there may very well be a few 'sideline' interview headlines hitting the wires too. Hmmm .... central bankers on the sidelines, I'm sure there's a joke in there somewhere.

Here's how we do panels in Australia:
Yes, the bald guy is the ex minister for the environment.
