Evans talks about hiking with the WSJ
The WSJ posted a short interview with Chicago Fed President Charles Evans. The comments were virtually identical to his other media appearances on Monday.
He said the Fed can afford to wait until December before hiking. He said there is also plenty of flexibility but essentially dismissed hiking in September even if inflation picked up.
