No change expected
The FOMC decision is at the top of the hour with no change in rates expected.
Going into the meeting, the CHF is the strongest. The NZD is the weakest. They were at the top and bottom of the rankings at the start of the NY session. The USD remains mixed with gains now vs the CAD, AUD and NZD and declines vs the CHF, GBP, EUR and JPY.
The GBPUSD and EURUSD remains near the day highs and the USDCHF and the USDJPY are near session lows (low dollar levels).
US stocks are hanging on to gains:
- S&P is up 1.25 points or 0.04%
- Nasdaq is up 27 points or 0.33%
- Dow is up 20 points or 0.08%
US yields are lower
- 2 eyar 2.256%, down -1 bps
- 10 year 2.483%, down -1.8 bps
- 30 year 2.90%, down 2.8 bps
