RBNZ – Wednesday’s speech by Assistant Governor John McDermott will now be made public

I posted yesterday on the ‘private’ (I wanted to say ‘secret’ … but that just too tin hattish) speeches governors of the RBNZ were giving on Tuesday and Wednesday. (Link is here, and again here).

Well, now … here’s an interesting development ….

Checking out the RBNZ website I’ve found that Wednesday’s speech by Reserve Bank Assistant Governor John McDermott will now be made public …

OK, then … and, err, thanks RBNZ!

Its scheduled for 10am local time in NZ … which is 2200GMT

• “Reserve Bank Assistant Governor John McDermott will deliver a speech on potential output to an audience in Wellington.”

Note that Governor Wheeler is also set to give a speech … this one is still to be kept private, though.
