Mario Draghi, President of the European Central Bank is giving a speech in New York this evening.

Yes, that's right ladies and gentlemen, the big D is making a special guest appearance during the Asian timezone!

Draghi is speaking at 0130GMT, at the Atlantic Council's 2015 Global Citizens Award ceremony (No! I have no idea what that is either, but it sounds great!).

I don't have a topic for the speech, and I don't know if he'll be speaking on the economy or monetary policy, but if he does I wouldn't be surprised if he said something like 'its too early to talk about extending ECB QE, watch inflation' etc. ... That's been a popular ECB comment topic of late.
