The time of release for the trade data from China is a little flexible
I normally expect it around 0200GMT ... but its been all over the place in recent months
Yuan terms
China trade balance for July:
- expected is CNY293.55 bn, prior was CNY 294.30bn
Exports y/y:
- expected is +14.8%, prior was +17.3%
Imports y/y:
- expected is +22.6%, prior was +23.1%
USD terms
China trade balance:
- expected is $45.0bn, prior was $42.75bn
Exports:
- expected is +11.0%, prior was +11.3%
Imports:
- expected is +18.0%, prior was +17.2%
The 'USD terms' data generally comes out 30 minutes or so after the yuan terms data.
