The EUR/USD closed at 1.3535 in NY and is currently trading 10 pips higher as the interbank week gets underway. The AUD/USD on the other hand, closed at .9160 but is 10 pips lower. Last week’s top at .9250 is starting to look like an interim high. The lack of movement early on suggests that there are no major stops close to the market, otherwise dealers would be gunning for them in thin trade. Cable is at 1.5030 and USD/JPY 90.45.
