AUD gaining faster the NZD, but both doing not too bad at all today
NZD is edging along on its session high whuile AUD has been more or less a steady martch higher ever since the RBA Minutes earlier today.
There haven't been much in the way of surprises from the news of the session:
- Australian Mid-Year Economic and Fiscal Outlook (MYEFO) out now
- RBA Minutes: "No significant surprise ... slightly more upbeat .. firmer growth"
- RBA December Minutes: AUD adjusting to significant declines in commodity prices
- New Zealand government Half-year Economic and Fiscal Update out now
NZD/USD is the middle of a cluster of selling, with more stops now above the figure, that look tempting.
AUD/USD is facing good selling all the way up to 0.7300 from here
