An ICYMI from overnight, the Australian Prime Minister is said to be setting the date for the election today
Word is he'll be calling it for May 18.
It seems like only yesterday we had the previous election. Here we go again. There are greater policy differences (of relevance for the economy and thus traders) this time around. I'll have more on this a bit later (when I psych myself up to delve into Oz political sewerage).
