ANZ Roy Morgan weekly Consumer Sentiment for the week ended January 14

Up 2% or so from the previous week and back above the longer term average
ANZ attribute this week's rise to better domestic economic fundamentals and a better mood about their (the consumers that is) own financial conditions. Media reporting about the tax debate has had little negative impact. Next week may see some impact from the tax debate re negative gearing.
AUD little changed. It rarely responds to this indicator.
