Barclays economists on the Fed
Barclays economists are weighing in on the Nay side of the Fed tightening decision. In a report, they say that
- "low-inflation in certain global demand leads us to believe that the Fed will not hike until March 2016, and that the ECB will add more QE before year end."
On the impact of lower oil they add,
- "the build out of the energy sector is offsetting weaker extraction activity from lower oil prices, making structures investment less sensitive to changes in oil prices".
