Barclays to close investment banking arms in Asia
Reuters are out with a headline saying that Barclays are set to announce the closure of some of their investment banking business across Asia
Sources say that Taiwan, and South Korea are due to see the axe while other countries will be affected also
An official announcement is said to be coming next week
The news doesn't come out of the blue as last year talk arose of them looking to cut their IB business across Europe, Asia and Latin America, to concentrate on their core UK and US businesses
