Posen is a confirmed dove but he acknowledges that UK monetary policy could go either way. He implies two MPC members are pushing for higher rates and that if the UK economy does not turn lower rates could be headed up given inflationary pressures.
Cable is edging higher, through the hourly downtrend noted earlier. 1.5309 is further resistance. We trade now at 1.5293.
