Oil is posting solid gains on the day
WTI is also up by 0.8% on the day currently to $72.10. Despite the dollar's recent surge, oil prices have been holding up very well on the back of geopolitical tensions for the most part.
Now that we're here, a daily close above the $80 psychological level will lend more conviction for buyers to make a run higher I reckon. Watch for that closing level.
