European Commission source plays down talk of a "tunnel". Says member states and the European Parliament will still be briefed on progress in the Brexit negotiations, although not perhaps as often as they would like
The earlier report about negotiations going into the tunnel sent cable 70 pips higher in a flash. This one isn't exactly denying it.
For me, the price action is the story more than the news. This is a market that's itching to buy GBP.
