Cable rallied to a session high 1.5257 a little earlier, the move coming on the back of aggressive GBP/JPY purchases by a UK clearer in the wake of the Sugimoto comments.
Cable has settled back a little to 1.5235 at wrting, while GBP/JPY is up at 145.90 from a European opening around 144.00.
