CANADA DATA:Canadian industries up capacity usage in Q2 to 81% from
80.5% in Q1. Manufacturing and non-manufacturing sectors made comparable
contributions to the gain, both registering a 0.5 percentage point
increase from the previous quarter to 81.6% and 80.4% respectively.
CANADA DATA: New housing price index(NHPI) +0.1% in July vs +0.2%
in June. Prices were unchaged in 6 of the 21 metropolitan regions
surveyed. On an annual basis, NHPI +2.3% in 12 months to July, matching
June’s y/y gain.
